About BASE: Further Developments
BASE represents a strategic project of the Bielefeld University Library and will continuously be developed. Main aspects are:
- Enhancing the index continuously by integrating more OAI sources as well as local sources
- Provision of a HTTP and a SOAP interface for BASE
- Evaluation and use of linguistic tools provided by the FAST software
- Federated Search
- Browsing (you can find a test version in our BASE Lab)
